Overview

For five centuries until 1686, Spynie Palace, near Elgin, was the residence of the bishops of Moray.

The beauty of the surroundings and the substantial wildlife and birdsong make the Palace a wonderful place to visit.

Medieval Weekend
13-14 June 2023, 11am – 4pm

Take a step back in time at one of Scotland’s oldest surviving strongholds. Wander through the living history camp to experience what life was like in medieval times. Enjoy living history and costumed performances.
