Tourism Project Coordinator (Communities)
Full-time / Flexible – Fixed-term to 31st March 2024
Salary £26,000 FT (and pro-rata)
Visit Moray Speyside (VMS) are the Destination Marketing Organisation for Moray. VMS promote the region to potential visitors, provide support and advice to tourism businesses across Moray Speyside and work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders to improve the experience for visitors to our region.
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator (Communities) to join the team delivering our HIE funded recovery work programme, with specific focus on community tourism.
As one of two coordinators reporting to the Chief Executive, this vital role will be responsible for developing and managing a range of initiatives aimed at embedding tourism capacity, capability and resilience in communities across Moray Speyside who wish to develop their town or village’s tourism potential.
The coordinator will have responsibility for management and administration of our SSE Beatrice Community Fund which supports communities to secure the future of public conveniences, for development and administration of our Fair BnB proposition and for other projects focused on supporting ‘community tourism’ initiatives and developments.
