Overview

The Universal Hall is a regional venue for music, theatre, dance, comedy, and film. It is also a fascinating and unusual venue to visit with hand-carved stone features, a dramatic stained-glass entrance and a living and growing roof! Come to a show or come to just to look and have a drink or snack in the Blue Angel Cafe in the building.

Events at the Hall include concerts of all kinds: contemporary music, classical music with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra or Scottish Opera, dramatic performances from a range of touring theatre companies; occasional stand-up comedy, dance, film and high-quality theatrical and dance events for children.

Flexible facilities at the Universal Hall also make it an efficient and attractive venue for conference and workshop events, including the Findhorn Foundation’s international conferences.

The Universal Hall is working together with Creative Scotland to develop the Hall’s potential further so that it can become an even more valuable resource for the local area, offering services to Findhorn, the whole of Moray and beyond.
