Overview

For five centuries until 1686, Spynie Palace, near Elgin, was the residence of the bishops of Moray.

The beauty of the surroundings and the substantial wildlife and birdsong make the Palace a wonderful place to visit.

The palace is located just 3 miles from Elgin.

Opening times
1 April to 29 September: Daily except Monday & Tuesday, 10am to 4.30pm (last entry 4pm).
Closed for lunch 12 noon to 1pm.
