Gordon Arms Hotel


This 200-year old former coaching inn, close to the River Spey and within easy reach of Speyside’s whisky distilleries, is understandably popular with salmon fishers, golfers and walkers. Its public rooms have been carefully refurbished, and the hotel makes an ideal base from which to explore this scenic corner of Scotland. The cuisine makes full use of local produce: venison, lamb and game from the uplands, fish and seafood from the Moray coast, beef from Aberdeenshire and salmon from the Spey – barely a stone’s throw from the kitchen!
