This lovingly restored and extended cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Fochabers.
Built in the 1870’s the cottage falls within the conservation area of the village in the heart of the village.
It provides 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms kitchen lounge area with a large enclosed garden.
With the banks of the river Spey less than a ten minute walk away, world renowned for its Salmon fishing and scenery.
Located within the heart of the Scottish Whisky and Castle trails, this house provides groups of up to six an ideal base to explore the North East of Scotland, where dolphin spotting is possible at the WDCS wildlife Centre, walks along the Speyside way, Tugnet ice house, monster bike trails, Speyside cooperage, golf courses, forest walks and during the winter months, skiing and snowboarding, mean there is something for everyone in this beautiful part of the world.
The rural village of Fochabers is situated 10 miles from the small Cathedral city of Elgin where there is the local train station and larger shops available.
The village itself is home to the world famous ‘Speyfest’ an annual festival of the best in traditional and contemporary Celtic music.
All towels, bed linen, central heating, electric and wi-fi included. .
