Overview

The Burgie Riding Centre, Forres, operates from within The Burgie Estate. We offer lead rein rides, group lessons, private lessons and show jumping lessons for children and adults, or experienced horse riders can choose to hack around a picturesque setting of the 1500-acre Burgie Estate.

We also currently offer full, part and working livery to horse and pony owners. Moray Council license the riding centre, it is a welcome addition to the Forres area where equestrian pursuits are popular. Training in stable management is also on offer.

The riding centre will also be providing ponies for the Forres, Nairn and District Riding for the Disabled Group who gives riding as therapeutic exercise to youngsters and young adults with special needs and physical disabilities.
