Speyfest contemporary Celtic festival is back to celebrate their 25th anniversary plans after the pandemic put the festival on hold for the last two years. Speyfest takes place in its very own pop-up Tented Village on the Playing Fields just off East Street, Fochabers. It is a summer event highlighting traditional and Celtic music, dance, and crafts.
Each July, the village of Fochabers is transformed into a haven of Scottish music and culture. The main acts this year are the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and Skerryvore.
Over the last 25 years, it has grown from a small local event with one small tent holding around 300 people, to 1500-capacity tented village welcoming visitors of all ages, from pre-school children to senior citizens.
