The Bothy Bistro Burghead

Welcome to The Bothy, a family friendly, independent bistro with warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We offer an all day style menu using the very best ingredients Moray has to offer. We have daily specials including vegetarian dishes and locally caught seafood. We bake all our own bread and cakes in house, which we serve with freshly ground coffee.

Our menu is designed to make a visit to The Bothy a memorable and a relaxed experience… Enjoy some charcuterie from the antipasti menu while you browse the menu. Select a wine from our friends at Albet I noya – the first Organic Vineyard in Spain. If it’s a special occasion, a night out with friends or you just want to spoil yourself there is always the cocktail list to choose from.

Our rear courtyard garden is dog-friendly and great for those lazy afternoons in the sun; grazing on freshly landed seafood while sipping a glass of chilled white.

The Bothy is open five days a week from Wed through to Sun all year round. We open in the evenings on a Thursday to Sunday.
