Overview
2024 is a momentous year as The Macallan celebrates 200 Years Young.
Two centuries have passed since Alexander Reid distilled the first batch of whisky in his curiously small stills and began the extraordinary legacy of The Macallan.
The Macallan Estate is looking back on that legacy, everything that has been achieved and is still to come.
Visitors are welcome, and all guests are advised to pre-book their experiences in advance via the website.
New for 2024 is The Heart Of The Spirit, a voyage through time where the past can be visited, the future can be glimpsed and travelling back and forth between the two is possible.
Also new in 2024 is Time for Excellence, casting a light on The Macallan’s journey through heritage, innovation and craftsmanship.
The Mastery Experience is a deeper delve into the whisky making process which includes time guided through production, a tutored tasting and a dining experience paired with wines.
Or why not book a table at The Macallan Bar? With uninterrupted views of the surrounding Speyside countryside, this bar has the widest selection of the Macallan anywhere in the world. The whisky cocktail menu uses locally foraged ingredients and there are non-alcoholic serves too.
You may also book a table to dine at The Macallan Estate where Scottish produce inspired by The Macallan’s iconic Speyside setting and natural larder is served.
Personal shopping in The Macallan Boutique should also be booked in advance.
All visits are by appointment Thursday to Sunday and are bookable up to three months ahead. For the latest availability, and to make a reservation, please visit www.themacallan.com
