The Granary

Overview

The Granary is surrounded by farmland 1 km from the fishing village of Portgordon. It is private and suitable for Children to play games outdoors.

The Granary offers spacious living with panoramic views of farmland. The large dining kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, drying racks and very large fridge/freezer. It also has a large couch to relax on. The wood panelled lounge has a stove, four comfortable armchairs and a couch.

Morayshire is famous for golden barley fields used to supply around 50 Whisky distilleries in the region. These all conduct free tasting tours. All along the coast are Fishing Villages, beaches, great places to cycle and walk and ancient Castles.

Spey Bay Dolphin Centre is one of Europe’s most spectacular Nature reserves full of Sea life and every kind of bird. If you enjoy golf or fishing there are an abundance of opportunities.

There are walking routes such as the “Speyside Way” or the “Moray Coastal Trail”, the latter takes you through the cliffs and sand. Above all there is an abundance of space to live. There are also specially made mountain biking trails very close by.

The Granary offers large outdoor space to relax/ play and have peace and rejuvenation. There is a wooden Swiss inspired balcony overlooking farmland. The Sunlight in Moray is spectacular and in Summer at midnight you can sit at the back of the house and witness it rising before setting. We are very far North.
