DUFFTOWN DISTILLERIES WALK

Get off the tourist track! Discover the Malt Whisky Capital of the World – with a local!

The renowned Dufftown Distilleries Walk is a relaxed walking tour around the past and present distillery sites of Dufftown. Drink in the history, the surroundings and of course samples from the distilleries themselves! This tour allows access to otherwise closed distilleries as well as the opportunity to taste some rather rare drams! Please remember your walking shoes. There are 3 options for your tour, BOOKING ESSENTIAL FOR ALL TOURS:

STANDARD TOUR: You will visit 7 distillery sites of Dufftown: Dufftown, Mortlach, Glendullan, Parkmore, Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie. Samples will be provided at each. DURATION 2.5hHrs. COST �24

EXTENDED TOUR: You will visit all 9 Dufftown distillery sites: Pittyvaich, Dufftown, Mortlach, Glendullan, Parkmore, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Convalmore. Samples will be provided at each, please note this tour allows for a small illustrative sample of Pittyvaich and Convalmore, these whiskies are very rare/expensive now. DURATION 3.5Hrs. COST �34

CONNOISSEURS TOUR: You will visit all 9 Dufftown distillery sites: Pittyvaich, Dufftown, Mortlach, Glendullan, Parkmore, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Convalmore. Samples will be provided as well as other samples, some from independent bottlers which allow you to compare different bottlings from some of the Dufftown distilleries. Available Mar – Oct, weekends only, at 1400h. DURATION 4.5 Hrs. COST �54

NEW! By popular demand, I have now formalised the Speyside Tours 3 course whisky dinner. This is a perfect way to end your whisky tour, especially the Connoisseur tour. Dinners will only take place if there is a minimum of 10 diners, so please remember to book you or your party in early. This dinner is matched with 3 whiskies and a tutored nosing and tasting is provided. COST �50

Mar – Oct. Tours operate every evening except Wednesday. Meet at Dufftown Clocktower at 1700h

Nov – Feb. Tours operate on Sat &Sun only. Meet at Dufftown clocktower at 1400h
