Seatown Cottage is a traditional fisherman’s cottage built around 1850. Accommodation comprises two bedrooms, open plan dining, lounge and kitchen, with a separate tv room and a beach front patio area.
Just a quiet road separates Seatown Cottage from the river Lossie and the bridge across to the fabulous East Beach. The cottage provides bright and airy, family friendly accommodation set in a stunning location. (Your 4 legged friend is welcome too!) A fast broadband service means you can stay in contact if you want to and there is off road parking in front of the door.
*** Stop Press – Following higher than usual footfall over the hot weather, the bridge was closed in July 2019 due to safety concerns. Funding has been secured from the Scottish Government to repair or replace it. The pandemic has delayed work and it is now hoped it will re-open in autumn 2021 but there is no guarantee. There are many other beautiful beaches in the vicinity, including Lossie’s West Beach, Roseisle and Hopeman, but at the moment you no longer have direct access to the beach – Sorry! ***
Lossiemouth is compact, but has the necessary shops, restaurants and pubs. It is ideal, not just for a beach, golfing or fishing holiday, but also for touring the Malt Whisky and Castle trails, as well as longer day trips to places such as the Cairngorms National Park or Loch Ness.
