The Highlander Inn has 5 ensuite bedrooms, award winning whisky and real ale bar, superb restaurant, and great bar meals, situated in the centre of the village of Craigellachie on the banks of the River Spey.

With 5 ensuite bedrooms; whisky bar; outdoor patio; lounge; a la carte restaurant (tremendous food in both the bar and the restaurant); and private, off-street parking, it truly is a great little place to stay when visiting this wonderful part of Scotland.

We are open all year at The Highlander Inn, and have a warm, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere; a cosy, hospitable ‘home from home’.

The bedrooms have been refurbished and have new beds and bed linen, curtains and bedspreads, and the ensuite facilities have a ‘wet room’ with plumbed in power showers (as opposed to those ubiquitous electric showers!) and non-slip flooring.

The rooms at the Highlander Inn are well laid out and relaxing with:

In our multi award winning bar, you’ll be delighted by the tremendous selection of single malt whiskies, the beer, and lagers on draft ~ including 3 CAMRA recognised cask conditioned ales always available and the choice of other beers, lagers, and spirits.

We also have one of the largest selections of Japanese whiskies available outside Southeast Asia!
