Overview

Dunvegan is a large, stone built 19th-century house located close to the centre of Dufftown – the Malt Whisky Capital of the World. Dunvegan is within walking distance of several distilleries, including Glenfiddich and Balvenie, each offering a wonderful experience for whisky lovers.

The rooms include two double en-suite bedrooms and one twin room with access to a private bathroom. Every room is comfortably decorated and fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay, including comfortable beds, a TV, coffee and tea making facilities, central heating, and a complimentary dram for your enjoyment. We also offer free Wi-Fi throughout the house and accept all major credit and debit cards.

Dufftown nestles in a valley dominated by Ben Rinnes (840m/2755ft) and has the highest concentration of distilleries anywhere in Scotland. An old saying was “Rome was built on seven hills but Dufftown’s built on seven stills”, this no longer applies as there are now nine.
