Bailies Cottage on Mayen Estate is a traditional Scottish Cottage, adjacent to the Estate’s historic Coachhouses built in 1790. Bailies Cottage overlooks the Arboretum and is a short walk from the River Deveron.

Perfect for a family holiday or retreat from the hustle and bustle of the everyday, Bailies cottage was renovated in 2024 to include brand new furnishings, a downstairs en-suite bathroom and modern kitchen to compliment. Set within the beautiful grounds and gardens of Mayen Estate, Bailies Cottage is open plan, spacious and warm, with a garden designed to enjoy the sun, with a wood-burning hot tub.

The traditional property is beautifully furnished and is well-appointed, providing a relaxed environment for six guests.

Mayen Estate is set in Banffshire, Northeast Scotland, in the stunning Deveron Valley. There is over 700 acres of grounds, woodland, and river to explore, as well as a walled garden and historic rock gardens. Low-impact holidays offer guests the perfect opportunity to retreat to nature, relax and embrace slow living, in a Historic Guardhouse, Designed Cabin or one of the traditional Highland Cottages.
