The Christmas Shop at the Avva Gin Distillery is now open Wednesday through to Saturday throughout November/December from 11am-4pm.
Our still, Jessie-Jean aka J-J is a bespoke 250 litre copper gin still. We are immensely proud that this was the first gin still crafted in Scotland to be used for the small batch gin industry.
We at Avva Scottish Gin Distillery are everything a small batch gin still should be. It is an exclusive combination of 11 local, native and traditional botanicals. This is including 5 of our locally sourced ingredients: rowan, red clover, mint, dandelion and nettle – hand-foraged by Jill.
In addition at the end of this month there is a the release of the limited edition The Forgotten Cask – 50 bottles only! For a gin to be matured for such a duration of time, just over 30 months, is rare and unheard of.
