Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin opens the programme with its exquisite homage to French Baroque traditions, blending elegance and emotional depth.
Ibert’s playful and expressive Flute Concerto follows – a virtuosic showpiece brought to life by Principal Flute André Cebrián, whose artistry captures both its impish charm and tender lyricism.
The evening concludes with Schubert’s radiant Symphony No 5, a work of youthful grace and vitality that echoes Mozart’s timeless brilliance.
