Experience WaterOrgan, a colourful kinetic artwork floating on the River Findhorn.

A pipe organ on the deck of a catamaran and pumped by a paddle wheel driven by the river’s flow, gathers data from the river through a series of electronic sensors and processes it into sound sequences played in real-time by the organ.

Each location in the river produces its own unique sound sequences which constantly modulate as conditions change. Come and listen to the River Findhorn, an experience you will not want to miss!

This installation is part of Source to Sea, Findhorn Bay Arts’ summer programme of events and activities to celebrate Scotland’s Year of Coasts and Waters 20/21, set in the rural and coastal towns and villages of the Moray Firth Coastline.
