LUNANA: A YAK IN THE CLASSROOM, tells the story of a trainee teacher who’s dreams of becoming a singer are interrupted when he is posted to the world’s remotest school. The debut feature from Bhutan born and US-educated film-maker Pawo Choyning Dorji’, last year it became the first Bhutanese film to get an Oscar nomination for best international feature.

We’re delighted to be screening three four-minute short films, created on location by the crew from Katie Armstrong Projects as they toured their scintillating show SKETCHES earlier this year.

One will open each of the three feature films scheduled in September.
