This 2 Day workshop will explore mixed media processes to make experimental pieces of work in response to the studio. From collage, to printing, drawing and painting, we will explore how to create the foundations of a piece of work through shape and colour, before building surface, mark and colour. This workshop will encourage you to see differently and challenge how you make an image.
All necessary materials will be provided and light lunches and refreshments will be available. Please notify us at time of booking if you have any dietary requirements.
The tutor
Jemma Derbyshire is a Painter living and working in Edinburgh, inspired by colour, form and surface. She is the principal Tutor at Paintbox School of Art in East Lothian.
