Cullen Sea School and the Three Harbours Association invite you to take part in a monthly beach clean/coast path litter pick to help look after and maintain our shoreline between Cullen and Findochty.
One of the Three Harbours Association objectives is:
‘The advancement of environmental protection and improvement thereof, by increasing public awareness of the environment surrounding the three harbours and environs, including flora and fauna, and by increasing awareness of our unique coastal walks and coastline’.
Each month we will tackle a different area of our magnificent coastline between the three harbours of Cullen, Findochty and Portknockie.
Dates & Times
The first date is Thursday 26th August at 18.00hrs on the coast path between Cullen Sea School and the former Salmon Bothy. Meet at Cullen Sea School.
Our beach cleans and coast path litter picks are free of charge to attend and are pre-register only. If you wish to make a donation to Cullen Sea School/The Three Harbours Association to fund our charitable work we would be most grateful.
There is a maximum of 20 people per session and you will need to register in advance to secure a place. We will adhere to the current Scottish Government Covid-19 guidance and have undertaken a risk assessment for the event.
We are grateful to Moray Council for their kind support in providing us with the litter pickers, bags, gloves and for uplifting the waste that we will collect.
We will also be taking part in the Great British Beach Clean organised by the Marine Conversation Society in September 2021. More details on this coming soon.
