The Café at Logie Steading has a whole weekend of foodie fun planned to celebrate the King’s Coronation. Kicking off on Saturday, May 6, the three days of ‘royal knees ups’ will incorporate an afternoon tea, live music, two BBQs and also the chance for budding musicians to pitch up and play.

Saturday 6th May –
Join us at the café for an afternoon tea fit for a king (usual menu will be available too). You’ll be able to feast on sandwiches, Logie beef sausage rolls, a small soup, a mini cake selection and homemade scone, cream and jam with tea and coffee. You will also be treated to a complimentary glass of (non-alcoholic) punch.

All this will be served whilst Dave Godden, also known as the World’s Smallest Ceilidh Band plays. Dave has played at Logie Steading before and donates his fee to the MS Society. Who is ready to dance in the courtyard?

Sunday 7th May-
Ella M, a regular here at The Café will be playing in the courtyard whilst Chef John cooks up a storm on the BBQ featuring a variety of options including Logie beefburgers. There will be bunting, with staff dressed to impress and John will also be creating the official Coronation Quiche, made with a crisp, light pastry case and delicate flavours of Spinach, Broad Beans and fresh Tarragon. Delicious!

Monday 8th May-
An extra day off for many so the BBQ will continue, but this time we are inviting you to pitch up and play. Join us in the stunning setting of Logie Steading, bring your instruments and play your heart out. This is open to anyone, pipers, violinists, guitarists, singers and dancers.
No matter what age, you are free to come and jam at the café. Grab your family and friends and enjoy this extra Bank Holiday.

Afternoon Tea and BBQ £14.95pp. BBQ for Under 11s, £10.
