Head to Lower Mill of Tynet Farm during Farm to Fork Week to discover the behind the scenes of a real working farm!
Over the course of 1 hour, Gordon, known locally as Farmer G, will take you on a guided walk to discover the wonders of the farm.
Starting and finishing at the farm shop, the tour includes:
– A discussion of how the farm started and their strategy for regenerative practices, high welfare, and environmental focus
– Gordon’s experience as a Nuffield Scholar
– Meet the cows and learn about milk production
– Count the hens and experience the egg production and packing process
– Learn a little secret insider info on how the family are working with science researchers to reduce their environmental impact.
This is an experience you won’t want to miss which celebrates the best of farming innovation and sustainability in just 60 minutes!
