About your Hostess

As an Airbnb SuperHost with a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award in 2019, I’ve made my Scottish Country Cottage a place I would love to visit myself; and I look forward to continuing to meet and host a wide range of people from all over the world.

Founder of Laura Westville Scotland Ltd. I’m ex computer industry and during my career I’ve lived and worked in Durban South Africa, London, Chicago, Saint Louis and Los Angeles.

Having traveled extensively for business as well as pleasure, I’m now very happy and content to be back in my home country of Scotland.

I live in a beautiful part of the Highlands and I offer bespoke embroidery and sewing services through my small business Laura Westville.

In addition to the sewing/embroidery and over recent years, I have developed a great interest and enjoyment from studying theology, the Dead Sea Scrolls and ancient Hebrew. As they say, the more you learn the more you realise just how little you actually know đŸ™‚

Historically, my Scottish Country Cottage was a traditional Bothy attached to the end of the main house. Although attached, the cottage is completely separate and has its own parking space, front and back doors as well as its own outside patio/bbq area.

Guests have optional access to my private hot tub which is located in the grounds of Mains of Auchindachy in an all weather thatched cabana. There is an small additional charge per night/day to assist with the high running costs.

You can book stays at the cottage on either Airbnb or TripAdvisor

I hope to see you soon!
Laura
